The Home Depot

After a morning of church and a yummy lunch we took a trip to the Home Depot. Decided to capture a cute Kaylie moment. She was trying to find ways to entertain herself so she stole daddy's hat.

Dance Party

This year we were invited to Grace's 4th birthday party. They decided to have a ballet party at the rec center. It was one of the cutest parties. The teacher did a great job and the kids had a blast. The birthday girl definitely enjoyed her day. Happy birthday Grace.

She actually begged for some cake. I didn't think she would eat it. She definitely likes to prove me wrong. I am ok with that for now.

Tea Time

Kaylie and I decided to have a tea party in her tent with her babies. Even with the static issue and doggie intruder it was so much fun. These are the moments I cherish the most as a mommy.

Our first

We officially have our first American Girl doll. While visiting with Inez and Rafael we went to the AG so Inez could pick up a gift to take home with her. Being a loving grandma, Grandma Chris took the opportunity to surprise Kaylie with her very own doll to love on. Kaylie was able to pick out the skin color, hair color, hair style, and eye color. Their were so many to choose from we thought it would be hard to narrow it down. To our surprise she picked one and that was it. We would show her others and she would always go back to the same one so that was the one she got. She has loved this doll since the minute it came out of the package. The funny thing is the doll is almost as big as she is. We ended up naming her Marie. Marie has loved being a part of Kaylie's world. She is definitely spoiled. Thanks Grandma Chris.

A visit from down under

A little after the New Year we were blessed from a visit from Inez and Rafael. They were on vacation and came to visit Grandma Chris, Jo and Papa. Being from Australia we have not seen them since the Christmas of 2006 when we had been pregnant with Kaylie for 8 weeks so seeing our now 3 1/2 year old was incredibly special to us. Thanks for taking the time to come and see us. It really meant the world to us!

Kaylie ended up loving our company. She did not want to leave their sides. She was sad to see them go.

"I will freak out and literally jump into grandma's arms." Thankfully grandma was their to catch her. She was done with Mr. Turtle after that.
