Very Tired

I am so tired...In the past few days I have completed a record number of posts. I am not sure how I ended up with so many but I did and now they are done. Make sure you scroll down because their are a bunch. Enjoy!!!

Wiggles

Since Ms. Way Way only has a few weeks left of her maternity leave we have been taking advantage of the time she has left to get the girls together which allows us to have some time to catch up. This time the weather was nice enough to get out of the house so we decided to take them to the Wiggles center.

Thankfully, it did not take the girls very long to warm up to each other. Usually we spend the first 30 minutes to an hour getting reacquainted. This time Claire grabbed Kaylie's hand and they were off. They really had a good time playing and by the time we got home Kaylie was begging to take a nap. I loved that! We will be sad when Ms. Way Way can no longer play because she has to go back to work. Until then we will continue to play and have fun.

Quack Quack

The other day Ms. Janet and the twins graciously took Kaylie in so I could get some things done. They had a blast together. Ms. Janet took Kaylie and the boys to see the ducks. This was her first time to do this so it was super special. Kaylie had so much fun she didn't want to leave and talked about the boys the rest of the night. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby girl.

Current Events

Kaylie loves to keep up with current events. She has become quit a pro at looking through the paper. Usually it means more of a mess for mommy to clean up.


When ever she is too quiet I will try to sneak up on her so I can catch her in the act of what ever she is doing. The other day this is what I found. She makes my heart smile especially after she saw the camera and smiled for me.

Happy Valentine's Day

v/b day celebration

On Saturday Jason and I were blessed to get an amazing baby sitter to allow Jason and I to have a well needed date night. We used this to celebrate my birthday/Valentine's Day at the same time. We decided to take advantage of this and go to a restaurant called Steal. We had gone their once for Jason's 30 th birthday because they are well known for their sushi but at that time I was pregnant so I couldn't have any. Big bummer!!! I have talked about going back ever since. It was definitely worth it because the food was amazing! We both left fat, full, and very happy. Afterwards we went to our other favorite spot that we have not been to for years since it is not child friendly and enjoyed some awesome jazz music. Definitely a great night!

Two happy puppy dogs

If it is raining outside forget aboutgetting them to go outside and do what they need to do. Change it to snow and you have two incredibly happy puppy dogs. They could not get enough of the snow. They would run and tackle each other for hours. When we would go outside they would chase anything we threw at them. They definitely enjoyed the snow more than we did!

Snow Day

I know...right now all of our friends and family that live in the north and the north east are laughing at us because of how crazy we have gone over a foot of snow considering what yall have been through in the past few weeks but for us a foot of snow is a huge deal!!! Dallas tends to get snow/ice at least once a winter but this year we have had several snow falls one of which was Christmas day the other of which was on my birthday. This particular one was what we Texans would consider a "Texas blizzard." Yet again...I know this does not even come close to what my friends in the north east have been going through but this is still incredibly unusual for us. All said and done we had a beautiful foot of snow. So beautiful I hated to walk in it.

Playdate Fun

After we played in the snow on Thursday we went inside to warm up and play. The girls have a great time together which helps when their mommies have some time to catch up. The best pictures are the ones with the I phones. The two of them are pros at finding and playing games on it. I can't help but wonder what the phones will look like when they are our age.
