A few weeks ago we had our neighborhood Halloween party. It was a great way to do a trial run of her costume. Even though it was a fight to try it on her getting dressed for the actual party was a breeze. I figured out I had to do her hair and put on her tights a good hour before she needed to be dressed to avoid shutting down. This worked well.
The party itself was fun and she only took a few minutes vs. the 30 it usually takes to warm up and play with everyone. Towards the end she was having so much fun she didn't want to go home. Silly girl.
