Tree time

As to be expected Kaylie's tree decorating experience was a lot more involved than previous years to the point of frustration on both her end as well as mine.  She wanted to help more than what was possible and it mad her angry.  She wanted to put the tree up but could only help with a few layers before it got too high for her.  When it was time for the lights I let my OCD go and thankfully she only felt the need to help with "a" strand before she decided she had helped enough.  When it came time for ornaments she rocked it.  She had a great time and loved her new Barbie rock star ornament.  She started air guitaring with it right after she opened it.

We let her put the first ornament on the tree.  She loved this.  Something we want to do with her for years to come. 

Barbie and the ballerina ornament were two of the ones I had bought when we put the tree up.  I ended up with a few more by the end of the season.
